Syria has announced the passing away of the its legend poet Sleiman Al-Issa whose children stories and poetry were taught in all primary schools of Syria. The famous characters of Basem and Rabab, which were used in these stories and poets, have united generations of Syrians with high morals and a very strong sense of national identity that has kept the country resilient in the toughest of times.
