Bimaristan Al-Qaimari

Al-Sheikh Mouhi Eddin, Damascus, Syria
Dating back to the middle of the 13th century, this building served as a hospital at that time, and is one of only three similar such ancient hospitals in Damascus.

It was commissioned by the Ayyubid prince Seifeddin Al-Qaimari, and it was later renovated in the first half of the 16th century during the early Ottoman Period.

Bimaristan Al-Qaimari is located next to Ibn Arabi Tomb in the Salihiya Quarter.
