Arabic Head Rings

Although the traditional Arabic head Rings are not worn by Damascenes, the demand in the rest of the Arab world and some parts of Syria has lead Damascene craftsmen to perfect the art of making them.

Arabs were said to have begun wearing a black head ban in sorrow upon the fall of Al-Andalus in the 15th century, and this had evolved to the present day head rings which are made of cotton and different kinds of wool.
