Hammam Al-Malek Al-Zaher

Al-Amara Al-Jouaniya, Al-Malek Al-Zaher Street, Beside Al-Madrasa Al-Zahiriya, Damascus, Syria
Dating back to the second half of the 10th century during the Fatimid rule, this is one of the oldest public baths in Damascus Old City.

Hammam Al-Malek Al-Zaher was built by Ahmad Bin Al-Hussein Al-Aqiqi, a prominent Muslim cleric in Damascus at the time.

The Mamluk King Saeed, son of Baibars, bought this bath at a later stage and renamed it after his father.
