A magnificent example of 18th century Damascene architecture, Beit Nizam was built in the middle of the 18th century during the Ottoman Period.

This beautiful mansion of 35 rooms and numerous galleries was used in the middle of the 19th century as premises for the British Consulate.

Today, the property is undergoing renovation works to be converted into a boutique hotel.
