This old Damascene house is situated in the Soufaniya neighbourhood, a part of Damascus Old City that is located outside the Old City Wall.

Reports of the Virgin Mary appearing to a Lady named “Mirna”, who lives with her family in this house, have been documented since the 1980s.

Today, part of the house has been turned into a small chapel where many Damascenes from all religions come to pray.
